So, many C-Level executives have a desire to blog on their website to help build their personal brand… but sometimes it’s really hard to do so. Ghost writing is ok… but in the end it’s like you’re not really sharing your true opinions in your true style.
I came accross a tool called Zemanta today. I’m trying it right now as we speak for the first time. It’s a plugin that installs with Firefox and automagically puts easy to use tools on the page where you’re writing your blog post that allow you to add links, pictures, related articles and some other stuff, too.
Right now, for example, it’s showing me two buttons where I can link to C-Level Execs on Wikipedia, a link to firefox, and a link to Zemanta… I’m going to tell it to add them right now. Looks like it linked them all up.
There are some related articles over on the right that I’ll insert here:

Wow. That was simple.
Here are some of the images it’s suggesting now that I’ve written some content.
OK… so it added the image at the top it looks like.
So, the bottom line is, the program is totally free and worth a try. My only complaint would be that the images are not very relevant at all.
